Why I spam on Twitter, but not Facebook or Jaiku
Jaiku has all the features that people have been bitching about Twitter NOT having, and yet fewer people migrate there, because their friends remain on Twitter. The simple structure of Jaiku– the organization of posts– make it easy to be less spammy. Yes, there’s a restriction at the FIRST post, but no restriction on the comments (which are threaded). Also, Jaiku has groups, so when a conversation erupts, it might be more appropriately routed to a place where all the people care (more or less). On Jaiku, I’m not spammy at all (at least, not anywhere REMOTELY close to Twitter).
