We’re not sure if we should be flattered or annoyed that http://twitterspam.com has set up a tumblog that is pulling in content from http://stoptwitterspam.com.
You should be flattered to have links coming from the original “twitterspam” site, but I was actually a little annoyed to get a TOS warning from Tumblr today, so I may be am removing your feed from this site (sadly). This was the original “twitter spam” jab at twitter because of the first spam messages from “A List” bloggers who had discoverd how to auto post and got a little carried away at that.
If you care to scroll back to the initial pages here, the oldest post (which I failed to properly backup and import here) are about a year old and highlight Robert Scoble and Chris Pirillo (among others) as some of the first to spam twitter, which is a shame. I also posted a few other things that were interesting about the twitter serive… all back when it was medium newish (after my initial twitter use when it was “twittr” when another Sean started tweeting).
Good job on your site. Great name. Keep at it. It’s a noble effort. I will link to you and move on with this.
