I just got kicked from Chris Pirillo’s IRC channel for saying “ß = SS” when someone asked “What does the ß mean?”. What a fucking prick!?
Is it any wonder that real ‘geeks’ think Pirillo and his wannabe groupies are complete fucking morons? Give an outcast, loser-ish geek with no friends the power of a moderator and they will turn into an anal totalitarian. Pirillo’s moderators prove that, beyond a shadow of a doubt.

ß is a letter that equates to the sound of two s’ that are side-by-side in most central European languages. Why I would get kicked for that is beyond my understanding, other than Pirillo’s moronic friends are exactlty that: morons.
Pirillo is one of the most annoying people to me. I remember him and his early days. Lockergnome and before that? He always had tips in his “high tech” newsletter that explained to people how to start notepad up or something similarly stupid. Ugh.
He also almost exclusively uses twitter for blog spam. I cant stand that.
